Fatigue Test

Fatigue tests are useful tools for analyzing the lifetime behavior of materials. During fatigue tests, a dynamic oscillating load is applied onto the test specimen.

Normally, materials start aging if a sinusoidal mechanical load is applied. Temperature, environmental conditions, influence of UV irradiation and influence of fluids like oils or solvents will have a great impact on the aging properties.
For these investigations, immersion tests can be carried out by using the NETZSCH DMA GABO Eplexor®® . The testing of fatigue behavior is specified in standards such as ISO 1368 and ISO 4666.
