In this webinar we will present different and complementary technics to study polymers. To determine thermal and mechanical properties, including rheology, lot of polymer applications need the use of one or more of technologies offered by NETZSCH. Indeed whereas DSC allows to know thermal transitions, TGA identifies the temperature degradation not to be exceeded to preserve the best materials properties. Mechanical properties can be studied by DMA and by tensile test, flexural analysis or torsion measurement with our rotational rheometers. This kind of rheometer enables to study viscoelasticity, crosslinking, and flow properties linked to polymer structure while capillary rheometer are more commonly used to study flow and PVT properties in manufacturing process conditions.
