Thermoanalytical and Rheological Characterization of Proteins

In this webinar, we will examine the use of Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) for assessing the thermal stability of proteins. Thermal stability is a critical parameter for the development and processing of biopharmaceuticals, functional foods, and protein-based medical devices. We will also discuss how temperature affects the rheological properties of proteins, with implications for formulation behavior and end-use performance.
Additionally, we will demonstrate how to simulate protein denaturation under conditions such as those experienced during pasteurization and sterilization processes. Lastly, we will explore how Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA) can be used to assess the mechanical properties of protein scaffolds.
