WOMEN AND TECHNOLOGY - NOT A MYTH!

Happy International Women's Day!

Today we celebrate International Women's Day! In recent decades, the role of women in the world of work has changed significantly. Especially in the fields of technology, natural sciences, research and IT, an increasing number of women have established themselves in the so-called STEM professions*. These professions require a high level of technical understanding, critical thinking and analytical skills to solve complex problems and gain scientific knowledge.

More and more women are studying scientific subjects and pursuing careers in research and laboratory settings. Women have also made important contributions in various fields of science and have made significant scientific discoveries.

Today we introduce you to NETZSCH power woman, Dr. Elena Moukhina!

Elena studied theoretical physics at Yaroslavl State University and holds a PhD in physics. She has been part of the NETZSCH Analyzing & Testing family for over 20 years and has gained a lot of experience in the Research and Development department. She has developed mathematical models for various thermo-analytical processes and implemented them in the analytical software. Since September 2021, she has held the position of Business Field Manager for Software Neo. In this role, Dr. Moukhina has contributed greatly to the development of Kinetics Neo software as a scientist and software developer.

Elena was interviewed for a piece in the “Women in Tech” section of the professional journal windows.developer at their platform entwickler.de. Read the full interview here:
