After Dr. Thomas Denner decided to leave NETZSCH-Gerätebau GmbH in the course of the generation change in spring this year, the company announces today the new management of the Analyzing & Testing Business Unit and of NETZSCH-Gerätebau GmbH:
Dr. Jürgen Blumm is appointed new CEO of the Analyzing & Testing Business Unit. At the same time, he will remain Managing Director of NETZSCH-Gerätebau GmbH. Dr. Blumm will be supported in the management of NETZSCH-Gerätebau GmbH by long-time management member Ingo-Ludwig Hammer. The former CFO becomes Managing Director at NETZSCH-Gerätebau GmbH, retaining his position as CFO of the Business Unit.
Dr. Jürgen Blumm has been part of the NETZSCH family for almost 30 years. After his studies in physics in Würzburg, he started his career at NETZSCH as an applications scientist in the NGB laboratories in 1995. In 2001, he took over the position of Head of Applications Lab and was supporting sales on frequent business trips, particularly to Asia. In 2008, he joined the company’s management where he was responsible for Sales, Service and Applications. Along with establishing and expanding international sales, Dr. Jürgen Blumm was very successful in integrating acquisitions and setting up an own subsidiary in Japan. Realignment and optimization of the organization in North America was another milestone in his outstanding career at NETZSCH.

With Ingo-Ludwig Hammer, an experienced financial expert joins the Management Board. He started working at NETZSCH-Gerätebau GmbH in February 2002 as a regional controller. For more than 10 years, he has been responsible for the financial sector of the Business Unit. After the acquisition of NETZSCH Taurus in 2020, he further took over the position as Managing Director in Weimar.
The two experienced executives succeeded in convincing the management of the NETZSCH Holding with the presentation of their future concept as well as their continuity and reliability as long-standing NETZSCH management personalities. They will assume their positions as of July 1, 2023.
