Thermosets are used in the Additive Manufacturing technologies such as Vat Photopolymerization and Digital Light Synthesis (DLS) as well as Material Jetting and Binder Jetting. While the material offers many opportunities for innovative composite manufacturing, thermosets are highly cross-linked and irreversibly cured, which can represent challenges in producing 3D-printed parts at high rate and high quality.
