Test Device for Flammability of Plastics for Parts in Devices and Appliances
UL 94 is one of the most widely recognized flammability standards for plastics. It defines methods to classify materials based on how they burn in different orientations and under different conditions. NETZSCH offers dedicated UL94 flammability test instruments designed to perform the full range of UL 94 classifications under controlled and repeatable conditions:
- ASTM Standards: ASTM D635, D3801, D4804, D5048, D4986, ASTM D5025, ASTM D5207
- European Standards: EN 60695 Part 11-10, EN 60695 Part 11-20, EN 60695 Part 11- 3, EN 60695 Part 11-4, IEC EN 60707
- ISO Global Standards: ISO 1210, ISO 9772, ISO 9773, ISO 10093, ISO 10315
Well thought-out details along with the use of high-quality materials guarantee the UL 94 a long product life while reduing the need for cleaning and maintenance, increasing safety and greatly simplifying day-to-day work at the laboratory.
