The UL 94 Classicis a basic version of the UL 94 device, with simpler manual operation and fewer electronic features. It offers reliable performance at a more affordable price. Both models perform the same flammability tests according to identical standards.

The UL 94 Classic combines proven testing principles with straightforward manual handling — ideal for laboratories that value simplicity, precision, and repeatability.

Method

  • Closed combustion chamber with exhaust fan
  • Material: Stainless steel, bead-blasted finish
  • Large viewing window with glass in the front door
  • Adjustable burner with inclination angles of 0°, 20°, and 45°
  • Manual positioning:
    • Burner positioning along the X-axis
    • Specimen positioning along the Y-axis for horizontal and vertical tests
  • Manual flame calibration in accordance with ASTM D5025
  • Specimen holders for HB, V, 5V, HF, and calibration tests
  • Manual controls for gas flow, pressure, and flame height using valves and gauges
  • Mechanical timer or external stopwatch for time measurement
  • Thermocouples with 10 g (500 W) and 1.76 g (50 W) copper blocks available (DAkkS calibration optional)
